Wow. that was some FAST shipping! Ordered on Monday, and arrived to the US from Hong Kong on Friday! Arrived in the same secure packaging as all other TXQ-made sabers, along with the usual accessories!
If you have any other TXQ-made-and-installed sabers with a Proffie, you already know generally what you'll be getting. This is a 1-button setup, with the usual TXQ Proffie config on OS5, and usual TXQ Proffie soundfont package.
Pros: Extremely visually accurate. Very heavy, but in a good way - the Darksaber is meant to be heavy. Firm D-ring that doesn't rattle around when swinging the hilt. Blade is well improved from the V1.
Cons: No blade plugs that fit it, that I know of. Due to unique emitter/blade shape, blade does wobble a bit, and needs regularly tightened during use.
While visually stunning, the blade is fragile, so this is more of a show piece. The hilt-side pixel PCB also does not have LEDs, but due to its unique shape, I also wouldn't expect it to. Overall, I'm satisfied!
Came well packaged! Works fantastic and is very accurate to the one used in the mandalorian, would order from them again!
